Snow White Movie Review: Disney’s new Snow White film has tried to present the classic story in a new way but this attempt has failed completely. Many new songs have been added to the film which do not match the story or the characters. The decision to show the seven dwarfs through CGI proved to be very costly but it looked cheap and bad.
Modernization and failure of characters:
An attempt was made to make it for the modern audience by making some changes in the story but it proved to be useless. The attempt to bring modernity to the character of Snow White failed. The humor of the film also seemed childish and mismatched which most of the audience will not like. The basic structure of the story is the same but its presentation is weak.
Poor editing and loose climax:
The editing of the film is so bad that many scenes do not seem to be connected to each other. The climax also comes and goes suddenly due to which the audience does not even know that the film is over. Nothing special happens in the entire 30 minutes due to which the impact of the film fades.
Weak acting and disappointing performance:
Gal Gadot’s performance is the most disappointing in the film. Her acting is so bad that the audience cannot believe that she is the same actress who was liked in Wonder Woman. On the other hand, Rachel Zegler tried her best to bring life to her character but her efforts faded due to weak direction and bad songs.
Disney’s falling level:
This film shows that Disney has now lost creativity and originality. First Star Wars, then Marvel and now Disney is continuously failing in live-action films. The company should now focus on making new classics instead of repeating old stories again and again.
